Since this position involves health research, the employment application will also include qualifying medical questions. This is standard practice in medical research. For example, if the organization is studying diabetes, individuals who are not diabetic would not qualify for the study. This job requires people to be relatively healthy, without a history of stated medical conditions

Health Assessment Questions
To be considered for the position of LifeX Research Associate, you must answer a series of health assessment questions to confirm that you are relatively healthy. To qualify for employment, you must be able to respond "no" to all of these health questions. There will be a medical review process to verify your answers. If you have experienced any of the conditions listed and must answer "yes," you will not qualify for the job. Additionally, if any family members you wish to add to the health insurance policy answer "yes" to the questions, you will not be eligible for employment. If, after the company finalizes its review of your records, and you do not qualify but believe you should, you are allowed to appeal the decision.
You must be comfortable signing the assessment questionnaire that states. "As an applicant to become a Research Associate Employee for LifeX Research Corporation, I acknowledge that misrepresentation of the questions on this application will result in termination of employment".
